I started losing hair in my early 20's. I'm now in my 40's and have spent about $10K over the last 15 years on hair treatments. It seems women's hair loss is impossible to cure. I believe I have androgenetic alopecia, but it hasn't been officially diagnosed. I've had blood work done to check hormone levels, etc. The latest treatment I had a couple months ago was supposed to be a type of stem cell therapy. I have yet to see improvement. So, I decided to try wearing wigs again. I've worn wigs intermittently for several years. I'm finally ready, I think, to commit to wearing wigs for the long-term.
